‘Veer Bharat Trust’ to aware about Indian hisory and culture

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Government will aware the people of India about the characters, teachings and inspirations works done by all-time great persons, saints and thinkers of India. A trust named Veer Bharat Trust will be constituted for this purpose. A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave its nod the proposal. The Chief Minister will be Chairman of the trust and Culture Minister Working President.

Five noted persons from art and culture spheres two social workers of various fields will be among its members besides the Chief Secretary and Principal Secretaries of Culture, Revenue, Urban Administration & Development, Public Relations, Finance, Housing & Environment, Tribal Welfare, Scheduled Caste Welfare and Tourism departments and Directors of Archaeology, Archives & Museum, Directorate of Culture and Swaraj Sansthan. Trustee-Secretary of the trust will be nominated on conditions laid down by the State Government.

At Veer Bharat, contribution of all the heroes, philosophers, saints, thinkers, poets, litterateurs, artists and scientists who contributed to establish India as a nation since ancient times will also be underlined. Motivational tales about glorious heroes will be reflected through photographs and sculpture. For meeting objectives of the Trust, its activities will be run with the coordination and assistance of Central and State Governments, non-government organisations, national and international level bodies and persons.

Posts created: The cabinet sanctioned new educational institutions and posts for acedmic activities by the Tribal Welfare Department in tribal development blocks.

Accordingly, 3000 posts were sanctioned for upgrading 200 high schools to higher secondary schools, 200 posts for additional faculties in higher secondary schools and 4,600 posts created for 100 Girls Education Premises. Besides, 20 posts have been sanctioned for upgrading two middle schools to high schools, 80 posts for setting up five sports complexes and 349 posts sanctioned for starting 48 English-medium classes.

Loan subsidy scheme for higher education: The cabinet endorsed announcement made by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Students’ Panchayat on January 12, 2012 about implementation of a loan subsidy scheme for higher education bank loans. Under the scheme, 50 percent loan subsidy will be given on the loan taken for higher education from banks by student whose annual family income is between Rs. 4.5 lakh and Rs. 7 lakh during education and moratorium period.

This arrangement will come into force from the academic session 2012-13. Scheme’s implementation will help students of this category obtain higher education loan at a rate of 6-7 percent. Students having secured minimum 65 percent marks in class XII will be eligible to avail benefit of this scheme. Maximum 10 thousand new students will get benefit of the scheme.
