Imbue ideal education and national character in young generation : Governor

Bhopal: Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav has said that ideal education based on national character, morality, Indian culture and values should be imparted to young generation with a view to developing India as super power of the world. He underscored the need to keep youths’ intellect always alive and give it shape of national intellect. Shri Yadav said that India will have to be developed as a self-respecting, happy, rich and powerful country by turning massive youth population of the country into skilled manpower. The Governor was addressing the concluding function of a two-day conclave focused on the theme “Development and Prosperity of Nation through Young Minds” here today. The conclave was inaugurated by former President Shri A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
The Governor said that youths should disseminate modern technology to villages so that the wide gap between cities and villages can be bridged. Shri Yadav said that conclusions drawn during this two-day conclave will write a new chapter. Shri Yadav also stressed the need for preventing youths’ brain drain.
Governor Shri Yadav also gave away prizes to the winners of competitions held under three categories. Srishiti Malik, Akanksha Tiwari, Imad Khan, Akanksha Dube, Kishan Singh, Stuti Mishra and Umar Khan were given prizes in paper presentation, Shubham Mishra, Mukul Kumar, Amandeep Gupta, Raunak Verma, Yajunsh Tyagi, Aradhna Singh, Sharmishtha Yadav, Kishan Singh, Vaishali, Neha Shrivastava, Govind and Lateef Shaikh received prize in models and poster competitions.
Special guest and MANIT Director Shri Appu Kuttan said that there is a great burden of social expectations on youths besides education. He said that skill and knowledge of youths is most important. Only a knowledgeable person can find out and solve citizens’ problems. He also described concentration, spiritualism and mental peace for youths.
Earlier, group’s secretary and journalist Shri Anil Sirwaiyya delivered the welcome address. Group’s president Smt. Monica Jain welcomed the guests. Mementoes were also presented to the guests. Shri Rajiv Jain proposed a vote of thanks.
