High alert in the country

NEW DELHI: On Monday a countrywide terror alert has been issued, now whole country has come under a massive terror threat after Mumbai and Karnataka.

On December 27 Union Home Ministry issued red alert in all around the country on information from the Intelligence Bureau that terror attacks were possible in places visited by the main suspect of Mumbai 2008 attacks terrorist David Headley.

During the Christmas time tight security has been beefed up in Mumbai and there police also released the pictures of four terrorists whose presence have been observed in the city, also high-alert sounded in airport.

In Karnataka over possible terror attack during the New Year celebration police arranged for heavy security arrangements. Sources also informed that specific alerts have been issued for the Taj Mahal in Agra and the Taj hotel in Mumbai.
