Reports: NCP to Rotate Bhujbal, Pawar as M’rashtra Dy. CM

A day after the party named Chagan Bhujbal as its choice for the post of Deputy Chief Minister in Maharashtra, media reports citing party sources on Tuesday said Bhujbal will now hold the position for eighteen months before passing it on to Ajit Pawar, five time MLA and nephew of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar.

According to CNN-IBN Pawar was miffed after he didn’t get his uncle’s support for the position and had even threatened that he would not join the Congress-NCP government in the state.

The report citing sources said that Bhujbal would move to the Center as a Union Minister after completing his stint as Ashok Chavan’s deputy.
