Gurshan’s Parents Thank Victorian People, Police

The parents of three-year-old toddler Gurshan Singh, found dead in grassland behind Melbourne airport on Thursday, have expressed gratitude to the Victorian people and police for their response to the tragedy, reported ANI.

On Sunday night, police took into custody an Indian national who shared a house in Lalor with the victim and his family and charged him over the boy’s death, report said.

Facing an out-of-sessions court hearing, Gursewak Dhillon, 23, was charged with manslaughter by criminal negligence, said report.

Police refused reports of arrest of Dhillon’s wife, said report, adding that an autopsy has so far not determined the cause of death.

Dhillon is to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday, report said.
