Jawans been honoured at CM House
BHOPAL (MPINFO): Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government will publicly felicitate gallant police officers and jawans.
At the CM House today, he honoured the police officers who eliminated Sundar Patel dacoit gang in Satna and seized a weapons factory run by Naxalites in Bhopal and congratulated them on behalf of people of Madhya Pradesh Chouhan said that the police personnel have added to the pride of the state by their gallant achievements. Chouhan had invited these police officers and jawans to the CM House on the occasion of the New Year.
Chouhan said that the state police have succeeded in eliminating dacoit menace in the Chambal region. The Chambal region is now peaceful barring sporadic minor incidents. He said that the elimination of Sundar Patel gang which had unleashed a reign of terror in Satna and nearby areas and seizure of Naxalites’ weapons factory in Bhopal are unparallelled achievements. He said that these officers will also be publicly felicitated. He also congratulated the citizens who assisted the police in these operations and lauded their courage.
Chouhan said that the State Government will extend every possible assistance to the police administration in its duties for providing security to the people and maintaining law & order in society.
In his welcome address, Director General of Police S.K. Raut said that full cooperation has been extended to the police administration to strengthen the police force and its modernisation under the guidance of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
He has boosted the morale of police jawans. Inspector General of Rewa range G.L. Meena introduced the police jawans who eliminated Sundar Patel gang. He said that as per Chief Minister’s instruction, every possible assistance will also be extended to the family of the police informer who sacrificed his life in this process.
Indore Inspector General of Police Sushri Anuradha Shankar Singh introduced the police officers, jawans and citizens who cooperated in the seizure of Naxalites’ weapons factory in Bhopal. Home Minister Umashankar Gupta, Minister of State for Home Narayan Singh Kushwah, OSD to Chief Minister Shri Sarabjeet Singh and other officers were also present on the occasion
