Food inflation reach to 9.13% in India
NEW DELHI: According to official data India’s food inflation rose to 9.13% for the week ended June 11, compared to 8.96% recorded in the previous week showed on Thursday.
The high inflation figures comes a week after the Reserve Bank of India hiked interest rates again, this happen 10th time since March 2010.
The primary articles index fell to 12.62% compared to 12.86% in the previous week, as per the data released by the commerce and industry ministry.
However, the index for fuels and power was unchanged at 12.84%.
