Election Comission to announce dates of Gujarat poll today

New Delhi: The Election Commission (EC) is all set to announce dates for Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly polls on Wednesday.

According to sources, the EC has decided to go for a single-phase Assembly polls in Himachal Pradesh ahead of Diwali.

The Gujarat polls will be held after the Himachal Pradesh elections, the sources added.

A EC team will visit Himachal Pradesh immediately after the announcement of the dates to oversee poll arrangements.
