21 died in hospital fire in China
Some photos and videos of people jumping out of the hospital window in China are going viral on social media. Some people were seen standing on top of the air conditioning unit. In fact, a fire broke out in a hospital in the capital Beijing on Tuesday. 21 people died in this. Police said that no one died due to the jump. Many people have been injured.
An official of the Fire Safety Department said that the fire started on Tuesday afternoon at a hospital named Chenfeng Government Care Center. Rescue operation was launched immediately after the incident. After two hours of struggle, 71 people were rescued. He said- After the fire broke out, many people jumped from the windows. He is hurt a lot. Many people have been admitted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
In a video viral on social media, a woman can be seen hanging outside a window from the 7th floor using a bedsheet as a rope. Then slowly comes down with the help of bedsheet. As soon as she comes down, she lands on the roof of another building. Many other people can also be seen with him on the terrace.
Whereas, in the second video it can be seen that many people are standing at the AC unit installed in the hospital. He was shouting for help. Some people even jumped from there without any help or support.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire. Police said in a statement – the reason for this could also be a short circuit. We are investigating. At the moment, it is difficult to say what caused the fire. So far two rounds of search operation have been done. The fire was completely controlled within half an hour.
