Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit has no indictment in CAG’s main report

NEW DELHI: Now the government sought to find loop holes in the CAG report on CWG. The decision on awarding tenders regarding the Commonwealth Games was not taken by political leaders and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had no hand in the tendering process, senior Delhi minister Arvinder Lovely said on Monday.

They say there was no indictment of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in the main report, but only a line mentioned about her in the executive summary.

“We have gone through the Comptroller and Auditor General’s report,” Lovely said. “Neither Chief Minister Dikshit nor any political functionary has been indicted in it.”
