NYAY to neutralize demonetisation fallout, says Baghel

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel claimed on Sunday that Modi government’s November, 2016 demonetisation had actually jeopardized country’s economy and cash from Pockets of the common people were taken away and money was sent to foreign countries.

Talking to media persons here before heading to a small mining town Kirandul in Dantewada district to launch his party’s NYAY Yatra (an election campaign), he stated that Nyuntam Aay Yojana ‘NYAY’ would compensate the adverse effects of demonetisation.

He said that poor people across the country will receive Rs 72,000 per annum under Nyuntam Aay Yojana if Congress is voted to power in the ensuring parliamentary polls. Baghel addressed public meetings in Bagmohlai and Kirandul in Bastar and Kusumkasa in Daundilohara on Sunday. Baghel is hoping that the proposed Nyuntam Aay Yojana of the Congress would help his party heavily in the parliamentary polls. Congress had won just one out of Chhattisgarh’s 11 Lok Sabha seats in 2014 and 2009 general elections.
