Dalai Lama Reaches Orissa to Inaugurate Buddhist Monastery
Tibetan spiritual leader and Nobel laureate the Dalai Lama has reached Orissa to inaugurate a newly-constructed Buddhist monastery in Gajapati district.
He arrived at Biju Patnaik airport in Bhubaneswar in the morning and, after a short stay, proceeded to Chandragiri in Gajapati district in a helicopter.
In the course of his stay, the Dalai Lama is scheduled to inaugurate a five-story monastery named Padma Sambhav Mahavira.
He will also attend several religious discourses.
