BJP to Take Decision on Jharkhand Govt Formation Stalemate Today
The BJP has said that it will take a final decision over deadlock on installation of government in Jharkhand after senior party leaders and observers meet in Delhi today, said media reports.
“I had only a brief meeting with the party observers in Delhi yesterday as I was flying to Chandigarh. Tomorrow evening, when I will return to Delhi, I will be meeting them and other senior leaders,” BJP President Nitin Gadkari was quoted as saying.
He said that a final call on the issue would be taken after that meeting, said reports.
The JMM has been insisting on a rotational power sharing arrangement with the BJP in Jharkhand which plunged into a political crisis after the saffron party withdrew support to Shibu Soren government in the wake of the JMM leader voting in favour of the UPA during the cut motion in Parliament.
