Baghel charges Raman of spreading lies about recruitment ban

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday accused former Chief Minister and BJP national vice president Raman Singh of spreading lies that recruitments in overnment jobs have been stalled for one year.

Notable, a section of local media published reports that the State Government had banned the recruitments in government posts for a period of one year.

Raman in a tweet criticised the government’s alleged move claiming that it amounts to deceiving unemployed whom the ruling party had promised to provide employment.

“BJP with hard work had made the state prosper and the Congress government is now pushing the state backward,” he alleged.

Clarifying the government’s position, Baghel in a tweet said firstly the former CM should read the order as it was the ‘routine’ order which is issued each and every year. He (Raman) had also issued similar orders in his 15 years tenure and how can he be unaware of that, he commented.

Giving details of the order, Baghel clarified that it only stopped the outsourcing of jobs and there was no mention about any ban in Government recruitment.
