Bangladesh PM Arrives Today
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrives in New Delhi on a three day state visit on Sunday, the visit is likely to result in the inking of three anti terror pacts on mutual legal assistance, transfer of sentenced persons and on combating international terrorism, organised crime and illegal drug trafficking after the Awami League leader meets Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday.
A memorandum of understanding on comprehensive co-operation in the area of power including grid connectivity will also be signed.
The two sides are also expected to take forward discussions on outstanding issues including those related to border dispute, sharing of water and connectivity.
On Tuesday, the visiting dignitary will be conferred with the prestigious Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development for the year 2009.
Premier Hasina is also expected to visit the Ajmer shrine of Moinuddin Chishti during the visit.
