Chief Minister Shri Chouhanal: Efforts will be made to bring water of Narmada Maiya up to Panna district

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that technical tests will be conducted to bring Narmada water to Gunnaur area of Panna district. Narmada Maiya’s water will be made available to the citizens of Panna district. Science classes will be started in Gunnaur’s college. Along with this, action will also be taken to upgrade the local girls’ school. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing dear sisters and citizens after public darshan at Gunnaur in Panna district today. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of development works worth Rs 677 crore. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the work of repairing the damaged pond and construction of Bhitari Mutmuru dam would be done in the area after the attention was drawn by the local public representatives.

Will leave no stone unturned in public welfare, one crore rupees each to three bodies

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that no stone will be left unturned in public welfare. An amount of Rs one crore each will be provided for Gunnaur, Amanganj and Devendra Nagar to three urban bodies of Panna district for development works. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that necessary steps will be taken after seriously considering various demand letters and suggestions of citizens. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, on drawing attention by the local public representatives, said that the work of repairing the damaged pond and construction of dam would be done in the area.

The previous government sabotaged the schemes

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the previous government had sabotaged the implementation of schemes. Today Madhya Pradesh is fast moving forward on the path of development. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is engaged in public service day and night. He has done the work of providing free ration to the poor. Madhya Pradesh government is also active for the welfare of the general public. Here the work of supplying water through pipeline to every house has been done with an amount of Rs 600 crore. An initiative has been taken to waive the tuition fee for the meritorious students taking admission in medical and engineering. Whether the students have to pay fees up to Rs 10 lakh, the state government will make arrangements for this. Along with providing adequate irrigation water and Rs.6,000 to the PM Kisan Nidhi for the farmers, work is being done to provide an amount of Rs.6,000 per year at the state level. Along with this, farmers are also getting loans at zero percent interest. The payment of food subsidy to Baiga, Saharia and Bharia families was stopped by the previous government. The previous government had also stopped the implementation of the Kanyadan Yojana and Teerth Darshan Yojana, the delivery assistance amount of Rs 16,000 given to the sisters. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that our government is making elderly people visit places of pilgrimage not only by rail but also by plane.

The date of giving gifts to dear sisters is nearing

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the festival of Rakshabandhan is on August 30. Sisters are going to get the gift of brother. An important decision will be taken on August 27 at 1.00 pm. Today dear sisters have welcomed me here by wearing turbans. His respect will never be allowed to decrease. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that thorns will never be allowed to come in the way of dear sisters who showered flowers. It is my resolve that there should never be darkness in the life of dear sisters. The raw thread of Rakhi is a symbol of affection. I will not let tears remain in the eyes of sisters. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we will make history of women empowerment in Madhya Pradesh. After Ladli Laxmi Yojana, implementation of Ladli Bahna Yojana has been started. The state government has made a provision of Rs 15,000 crore for the implementation of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. The respect of dear sisters is increasing with this scheme. The effort is to make the monthly income up to Rs 10,000 through various schemes and programmes. Provisions have been made for harsh punishment and even death penalty for misdemeanors in the state.

Citizens gathered in public

Minerals Minister Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, Member of Parliament Shri V.D.Sharma and other public representatives were present in the programme. Citizens of Gunnaur thronged to welcome Chief Minister Shri Chouhan in public darshan. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was welcomed with flowers by setting up platforms at many places.

Inauguration of development works – Bhoomipujan

In Gunaur district Panna today, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated development works worth Rs 677.49 crore and performed Bhumi Pujan. For Gunaur assembly constituency, 9 development works worth Rs 677 crore 49 lakh 46 thousand were inaugurated and foundation stone laid. These include inauguration of 3 development works worth Rs 60 crore 17 lakh and foundation stone laying ceremony of 9 development works worth Rs 617 crore 32 lakh 41 thousand. In these works, construction of 132/33 KV sub-stations in village Simaria of Birwahi, Devendra Nagar and Powai area worth 27-27 crores and Gunaur bypass road length 3.30 km costing 6.17 crores. is included. Among the development works for which Chief Minister Shri Chouhan performed Bhumi Pujan, Pawai Vyarama Group Water Supply Scheme worth Rs 506 crore 54 lakh, Government Utkrisht Umavi worth Rs 38 crore, redevelopment work of Gunaur, redevelopment of Kakarhati worth Rs 31 crore 70 lakh, Rs 27 crore Gunaur’s Amrit 2.0 water supply scheme of 65 lakhs, construction of new government ITI in Shahnagar at a cost of Rs 12 crore 63 lakh 41 thousand and construction of office building of Gunaur Municipal Council with 80 lakhs.
