World Bank team touring Madhya Pradesh
BHOPAL: World Bank team will be touring Madhya Pradesh from 7 May, 2012.
The team will be divided into two groups and tour Rajgarh, Guna and Shivpuri districts where District Poverty Initiative Project (DPIP) is being implemented.
The team members observe improvements in the living standard after connecting with the project with meeting women members of self-help groups and Gram Utthhan Samitis.
The team is led by Kevin Crock Ford and its members include Winston, Preeti Kumar, Sauvik, Samik Das, Varun Singh and DPIP Project Coordinator L.M. Belwal. The team will inspect solar lanterns and solar mobile charger stations set up in the villages under a novel scheme of DPIP.
A review meeting will also be held in Bhopal on May 9.Members of State Project Units of DPIP will also take part in the meeting. In the meeting works, activities, innovations and achievements under DPIP will be reviewed.
