US stops aid to North Korea

WASHINGTON: The planned food aid to North Korea by United States will be stopped because of launch of long-range missile says Washington on Friday.

Washington also warned North Korea about the consequences of missile launch.

White House National Security Council spokesman Ben Rhodes told reporters, “We are not going forward with an agreement to provide them with any assistance”. He said this while traveling with President Barack Obama to Florida.
