State Govt to Hold Industry Interactive Sessions at Bangluru, Ludhiana

For inviting capital investment in Madhya Pradesh, state government will hold industry interactive sessions at Bangluru and Ludhiana under the campaign Destination Madhya Pradesh : Investment Drive 2010-11, said an official release.

The state government is undertaking the campaign to attract private capital investment to the state.

These sessions would be the second programme under Destination Madhya Pradesh: Investment Drive 2010-11.

Earlier this year, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Industry Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya had led a business delegation comprising industrialists from the state to three Western European countries.

The objective of this foreign tour was to make industrialists of those countries aware of resources and possibilities of investment available in Madhya Pradesh apart from inviting them to Khajuraho Investors’ Meet to be held on October 22 and 23.

At Bangluru industry interactive sessions, industrialists, investors and representatives of industrial houses of South India have been invited, while in Ludhiana session, industrialists and industrial houses of North India will participate.

Vijayvargiya will address the industry interaction sessions at Bangluru and Ludhiana. He will make industrialists aware of resources and investment possibilities available and concessions and facilities given to industries in Madhya Pradesh and invite them to invest in the state.

He will also invite industrialists to attend Khajuraho investors’ meet to be held on October 22 and 23.

A video presentation will also be made at both the sessions on Madhya Pradesh’s industrial scenario and investment feasibilities.

The industry interactive sessions at Bangluru and Ludhiana will organised jointly by Trade & Investment Facilitation Centre Corporation (TRIFAC) and State Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC) with the cooperation of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Infrastructure Logistic Federation of India (ILFI).
