Rain in Mandsaur, Jhabua, Dhar and Barwani: Strong system active in MP; Clouds in many districts including Bhopal, Indore, Narmadapuram, Guna.

It rained in Mandsaur, Jhabua and Manawar of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh after 2 pm on Sunday. Water fell in Sendhwa of Barwani due to strong wind. It started raining in Ujjain after around 4 pm. It is cloudy since morning in other districts of the state including Bhopal, Indore, Narmadapuram, Guna.

There will be rain and strong winds in the state for the next four days. Hail may also fall at some places.

Scientists of IMD (Meteorological Centre), Bhopal have predicted that the impact of the system will be maximum in some districts of Bhopal and Narmadapuram along with Indore-Ujjain division. Two days later, i.e. on 28-29 November, the same system will bring rain in the eastern part of the state i.e. Jabalpur and surrounding districts.

Senior meteorologist HS Pandey said that a strong rain system has become active in MP due to the western disturbance, trough line and cyclonic winds. Its impact will be more in the western part.

There will be more rain in Indore-Ujjain

 

The first Mawatha fall of the season will have the biggest impact in Indore and Ujjain divisions of the state. Meteorologist Pandey said that the impact will be more visible in Narmadapuram division along with the southern part of Bhopal division. This effect will last for two days. After this the system will shift to the eastern part.

Bhopal, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Shajapur, Rajgarh, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Betul, Sehore, Rajgarh, Chhindwara, Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Raisen, Vidisha, Guna, Ashoknagar, Sheopur, Morena, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Light rain may occur in Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Panna, Niwari and Tikamgarh. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Chhatarpur, Umaria, Bhind, Datia and Seoni.

November 27, Monday: Bhopal, Indore, Alirajpur, Dhar, Barwani, Khargone, Shajapur, Dewas, Sehore, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Betul, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Jabalpur, Katni, Damoh, Panna, Umaria. There may be light rain at isolated places in Mandla, Balaghat, Anuppur, Shahdol. There will be thunder and lightning in Sagar.

November 28, Tuesday: Indore, Bhopal, Khargone, Dewas, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Shajapur, Harda, Narmadapuram, Betul, Raisen, Vidisha, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Jabalpur, Damoh, Katni, Dindori, Anuppur, Shahdol. There may be light rain in Umaria. At the same time, there will be thunder and lightning in Sagar and Panna.

29 November, Wednesday: Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa, Harda, Dewas, Narmadapuram, Betul, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Jabalpur, Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Katni, Mandla, Satna, Rewa, Sidhi, Umaria, Shahdol, Anuppur. And there will be light rain in Dindori. Whereas, there will be thunderstorms in Balaghat, Alirajpur, Dhar, Indore, Shajapur, Sehore, Vidisha, Raisen and Tikamgarh.

The coldest night in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday was in Umaria. The minimum temperature recorded here was 8.3 degrees. The temperature in Pachmarhi was 10.4. Indore had the highest minimum temperature of 18.6 degrees.
