New rumors of doomsday

CALIFORNIA: Rev Harold Camping of Oakland, California, has made the predictions – the world will end on 21st of May 2011.

At 6 pm on that day, 2 percent of the world population would be left and the remaining 98 percent would be on their way to either Heaven or Hell.

Camping is an 89-year old retired civil engineer and loves to do calculations. He has apparently worked out an infallible logic for his prediction.

He has studied the Bible for the last 70 years and has calculated that the 21st of May 2011 would be the 722,500th day from the date of Crucifixion of Lord Jesus Christ. That date was 1st April, 33 AD.

Incidentally, Camping had earlier predicted the world would end on 6th September 1994 – that was an error. He has admitted that there were errors in that calculation.

But he is sure for his present prediction.
