Hamid Karzai to visit Pakistan soon

Kabul: Hamid Karzai accepted an invitation delivered by Pakistan one week ago.

Relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan have been tense and Kabul has in the past charged that Islamabad has supported the Taliban in its fight against the government.

The senior Pakistani officials who delivered the invitation said then that Islamabad is seeking to mend frayed ties.
