Egyptian military demand back the missing documents

CAIRO: During the protests and all unwanted happenings in Egypt since so a number of days, the secret documents get disturbed. Now the Egypt’s ruling military council has asked the people to return top secret documents that went missing during recent attacks on state security agencies, and asked the document holders to keep the information secret.

There have been many attacks by protesters on state security agencies based on rumours that security officers were trying to destroy the security archives.

According to reports demonstrators got hold of some classified documents, which might shed light on the latest events in the country.

The military council ruling the country after president Hosni Mubarak stepped down Feb 11, said on its Facebook page, ‘These documents contain names and files, which could jeopardise the security of the country and the people.’

Egyptians say security officers took advantage of their vast powers to control people’s lives, including banning or allowing foreign trips, or interfering with business and personal relationships, said reports.

Demonstrators demanded that the state security service be abolished as an element of the past after Hosni Mubarak stepped out.
