26/11: Pak Responds to Indian Replies, Says One More Arrested

In response to New Delhi’s replies to Islamabad over the 26/11 terror carnage in Mumbai, Pakistan on Monday requested India for further clarifications., informed head of the country’s Interior Ministry Rehman Malik while speaking to the media in Islamabad on Monday.

Malik said that India was yet to provide details of the SIM cards used by terrorists during the attacks and said that Pakistan has requested India for some documents related to Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone terrorist captured alive during the terror attack and currently lodged in prison in India.

“We have requested India for a copy of Kasab’s statement to magistrate. We have also asked India for a copy of Kasab’s chargesheet,” he was quoted as saying by NDTV on its website.

He further contended that DNA reports of Kasab and another terrorist killed were the same.

While informing of rhea continuing investigations into the matter, Msalik informed that Pakistani authorities have arrested one more facilitator of the gruesome attack that killed over 180.

The arrested man was identified as Shahid Jameel Riyaz, who allegedly transacted funds used by the terrorists for the attack.
