Work in right earnest to improve public service delivery system and help people get its benefits

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed the government staff to work in right earnest to improve public service delivery system for good governance and help people get its benefit. Strict action should be taken without hesitation on detection of irregularities. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held discussions with divisional commissioners, inspectors general of police, collectors and SPs through video-conferencing here today. Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram and DGP Shri Nandan Dube were also present.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that direct dialogue between government/administration with people is vital in democracy. For this, team comprising Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries will visit divisions. He directed that implementation of various announcements should be monitored constantly. Information regarding it should be sent from every district to Chief Minister’s secretariat every month.
Informing about department-wise feedback, Shri Chouhan said that a campaign should be launched in every district for providing forest land rights documents to eligible beneficiaries and it should be ensured that no eligible beneficiary is left out. A campaign should also be launched to provide benefits of wells and diesel pumps under Kapil Dhara scheme and cottages to beneficiaries possessing forest land right documents. No difficulties should be experienced in payment of wages to tendu patta collectors. Maximum number of youths should be motivated to avail benefit of Swarozgar Yojana launched in the name of Shaheed Tantya Bhil.
Campaign to dispose of revenue cases: The Chief Minister directed to launch a campaign for disposal of revenue-related cases. It should be ensured that cases of caste certificate, issuance of khasra copies, land acquisition and demarcation are disposed of within prescribed time-limit. Online applications received under Public Service Delivery Guarantee Act should also be disposed of within time-limit. Implementation of State Government’s ambitious scheme Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana should be ensured on priority. It should be constantly monitored. Benefits under the scheme should be extended to youths under the scheme by holding camps. A network of small and cottage industries will be spread in the state through the scheme. Sanctions to entrepreneurs in districts should be given within time-limit. For this, collectors should fix a particular time every week.
He said that repairs of SC, ST students’ hostels should be ensured before new academic session. Skill development training to SC, ST youths and habitation development should be ensured within time-limit. District-level agriculture offices should be activated further so that they have live contact with farmers. Motivate farmers to store seeds, fertilisers etc. in advance right now. Monitor power supply situation regularly. People should be informed about maintenance works in advance and transformers should be replaced within time-limit.
CM to tour urban areas in July: The Chief Minister said that development works under Mukhyamantri Shehri Adhosanrachna should be sanctioned within time-limit and people should get their benefit. He will inspect these works by visiting urban areas in July. Implementation of Shehri Pey-Jal Yojana should also be ensured on priority. It should be ensured that new ITIs and skill development centres run smoothly and there should be coordination between training and employment programmes. Payment against loss to human lives, livestock and crops by wild animals should be made expeditiously. People should not face difficulties in obtaining various permissions pertaining to the Forest Department.
The Chief Minister directed to monitor Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Free Medicine Distribution Scheme constantly. Special attention should be paid to maintenance of appliances in government hospitals. Ensure further simplification of Rajya Beemari Sahayata Nidhi and incorporate provisions in it for providing assistance as per requirement. Special attention should be paid to sanitation and good behaviour with patients in government hospitals.
Ensure distribution of food grains to poor on 7th of every month: The Chief Minister said that the State Government is implementing Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana for providing wheat and iodised salt at Re. 1 per kg and rice at Rs. 2 per kg to the poor from June 1. It should be constantly monitored for successful implementation. Food grains should be distributed to the poor on 7th of every month. Campaigns should be launched in every district to rehabilitate disabled persons. Special attention should be paid to availability of drinking water in urban and rural areas. Ensure revival of closed piped water schemes and repair of handpumps within time-limit. Monitor public service centres constantly and improve them.
Directs to ensure prompt action in cases of crimes against women: The Chief Minister said that police should ensure quick action in heinous crimes and cases of crimes against women and get convicts punished. Presence of police in field should be visible. Action should be ensured with full alertness in cases of internal security and crimes against schedules castes and tribes. Strict action should be taken in cases of hooch. Chalk out advance scheme for repair of roads that deteriorate during rainy season. Mining permission for construction of roads should be accorded timely. Labourers under MNREGA should be paid wages timely as well as employment as per demand. Funds should be provided timely to beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Aawas Mission and Antyodaya Aawas Yojana. Panch Parmeshwar Yojana’s implementation should be expedited. Work constantly to prevent malnutrition under Atal Child Health & Nutrition Mission.
Good works lauded: The Chief Minister lauded good works in various sectors for which he has received feedback. He said that wheat procurement and farm input distribution works have been undertaken in a better way. People in the state are satisfied with power supply situation. The Energy Department has done feeder separation work in a better way. Lauding implementation of Free Medicine Distribution Scheme, he said that common people are happy over it. Shri Chouhan also lauded the Public Works Department for better condition of roads in the state. He said that good work has been done under Atal Child Health Mission for prevention of malnutrition. Strictness of police in cases of crimes against women has started showing results and convicts have been awarded death sentence in a number of cases.
Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries of concerning departments were present during the video-conferencing.
