Four Arrested for Abduction, Murder of Class XI Boy in Delhi

In connection with murder of 17-year-old Ribhu Chawla, a school student, police have arrested four accused – Rishi, Manni, Gaurav and Rocky, all aged between 20-25, in an early morning raids in Delhi and Haryana.

According to reports, police have recovered Ribhu’s mobile, which was being used by abductors. Besides, the Wagon R used in the crime was also seized. During the interrogation of accused, it was revealed that Rocky was known to Ribhu while the three others were Rocky’s friends.

It may be mentioned that  Ribhu Chawla, a class XI student of KR Mangalam World School in Vikaspuri and son of a businessman, was found with his throat cut in a forest area in South Delhi’s Vasant Kunj on Wednesday.

Ribhu’s father Sanjay Chawla is the MD of Glozon Technologies at Patparganj, east Delhi and is associated with several other software companies. The victim, Ribu Chawla, 17, the only child of a venture capitalist, was killed despite a part of the RS 60 lakh ransom being reportedly paid.

The four accused will be taken to police remand for further questioning. The school bag of Ribhu is yet to be recovered.
