Affection with plants and trees necessary: Ram Naresh Yadav
Bhopal: Affection with plants and trees and their preservation is need of the hour. This was stated by Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav while inaugurating a bonsai exhibition here today. Voluntary, specially youth organisations should come forward to create awareness regarding environment, plant and trees among youths and society, he added. The exhibition was organised by Lakecity Bonsai Association. On the occasion, the Governor also released a souvenir of Bonsai Club.
Governor Shri Yadav said that now problems are also being experienced in planting trees and plants. Shortage of plants and trees can be bridged to a large extent through bonsai. Selecting a tree to develop it as bonsai is an expression of art.
Association’s Chairperson Smt. Arundhati Tiwari informed that bonsai art is getting popular among nature lovers and connoisseurs of floral plants. This exhibition is based on the theme “Nature in Miniature”.
On the occasion, the Governor felicitated association’s President Shri J.S. Bindra and lauded works done by him for bonsai. Unit Head of Patrika Shri Gajraj Bhandari and large number of bonsai lovers were present on the occasion.
