Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that no stone will be left unturned for the development and welfare of the hardworking citizens of the state. There will be continuous efforts for the development of all sections of the society. The Pal community is hardworking. The benefits of government schemes will be ensured to the Pal Samaj associated with agriculture, animal husbandry and other works. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the All India Pal Mahasabha Samagam programme at the Chief Minister’s residence premises today. The Chief Minister announced the formation of Maa Ahilya Board in the state, memorial in Indore, construction of Maa Ahilya Devi Lok in Maheshwar and optional holiday on Devi Ahilya Jayanti.

Maa Ahilya Devi Welfare Board will be formed in the state, in which Pal, Dhangar, Gadaria and Bharul, pal, Gaderi sub-branches of the society will also be included. The chairman of the board will be given the status of a minister.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a ruler like Maa Devi Ahilya cannot be found. She renovated temples from Badrinath to Rameshwaram. She was a symbol of good governance. She was born to establish religion. Got the good fortune today that Maa Devi Ahilya’s palki was lifted on her shoulders. She inspires good governance everyone. The contribution of Lok Mata Ahilyadevi is memorable. At the start of the function, Chief Minister Chouhan lifted the palki decorated with a huge portrait of Maa Ahilya Devi on his shoulder. The palki was brought respectfully from the venue to the stage.

Chief Minister Chouhan was felicitated by the President of the State Electronic Development Corporation and the National President of the Mahasabha Shaitan Singh and other people’s representatives with turban, shawl-shreefal, flower-shower and huge wreath. Chief Minister Chouhan also welcomed the brothers of Pal community with shower of flowers. The Chief Minister said that he would maintain the respect given by the Pal Samaj and also ensure the respect of the citizens. No thorn will be allowed to come in the way of the citizens. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp. Shaitan Singh gave the welcome address. Jeevan Pal proposed vote of thanks.
