Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that MP MSME Summit-2023 will prove helpful in promoting entrepreneurial culture and developing the spirit of innovation in the state. The youth of the state will get guidance for entrepreneurship from the participating entrepreneurs and subject experts and they will also be able to get acquainted with new possibilities in various fields. Special sessions will be held on Technology Transfer for MSMEs, New Age Finance, International Competition, Promoting Women Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation in the summit. Chief Minister  Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the Summit-2023 to be held on June 19 on ‘Positive Coincidence of Economic Development – Micro, Small and Medium Industries of Madhya Pradesh’. Minister  Omprakash Saklecha was present in the meeting held at Samatva Bhavan located at the residence office.

Entrepreneurs and industrialists will be honoured with the MSME Award. About 1000 participants will participate in the summit to be held from 9:30 am at Amer Greens, Narmadapuram Road in Bhopal. In this, entrepreneurs and industrialists, industry association officials, people associated with startups and students will be take part. MoUs will also be signed with Walmart and NSE India. Also, MSME awards will be given for the years 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21. The programme will be live telecast at all the district headquarters.

Sessions will be held on Modernization, Financial Solutions, Digital Transformation and International Competitiveness

The summit will have 6 thematic sessions, in which there will be discussion on Modernization of MSMEs through Technology Transfer, New Dimensions of Financial Solutions for MSMEs, Cluster Development, Eco-Friendly MSMEs, Enhancing International Competitiveness, Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation for MSMEs.

Among those who will be attending the summit include United Nations Industrial Development Organization India Representative  René Van Berkel, FICCI Flo National President Sushri Sudha Shivakumar, Koppal Toy Cluster CEO  Kishor Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of National Research Development Corporation Commodore  Amit Rastogi, Director General of Indian Institute of Public Administration (Retd)  Surendra Nath Tripathi, Chairman Laghu Udyog Bharti Shri Mahesh Gupta, Former Central Government Secretary Dr. Rajan Katoch and President Dalit Chambers of Commerce Industries Shri Milind Kamle will be present. The knowledge partner of the programme is Ernst & Young and the academic partner is IIM Indore. Invest India, ASSOCHAM India, CII, FICCI, PHD Chambers of Commerce & Industry and DICCI are also participating in the programme.
