CM Shivraj unveiled the grand statue of 108 feet high Acharya Shankar…..

The statue of unity was unveiled in Omkareshwar in the presence of saints from all over the country

Along with the unveiling of the 108 feet high multi-metal statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, who united the whole of India, in Omkareshwar, the land of knowledge, the foundation stone of Ekatm Dham was completed in a divine and grand manner. While unveiling the statue in the presence of prominent saints from across the country, Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan bowed to the feet of Adi Guru Shankaracharya Ji and prayed to bless the land of Madhya Pradesh.

May the knowledge of Advaita be passed on to the coming generations also.

CM Chouhan said that Adi Guru Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj did the work of culturally uniting the country. He said that Adi Shankaracharya’s birthplace was Kerala, but he attained enlightenment at Omkareshwar while traveling through forests and mountains. After gaining knowledge from here, he proceeded towards Kashi. India is one because of his Advaita Vedanta. Adi Shankaracharya established four monasteries in four corners of the country. Prominent saints including Swami Vivekananda, Swami Ramtirtha, Tulsi Das and Kabir Das ji have adopted the Advaita knowledge of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. With the aim that the coming generations should also get Advaita knowledge, Ekatm Dham is being built in his memory.

Today, a wonderful glimpse of Sanatan and Sankriti was being seen in Omkareshwar, the sacred land of Madhya Pradesh. Prominent saints from across the country became direct witnesses of the unveiling of the Statue of Ekatmta and the laying of the foundation stone of Ekatm Dham. The divine program of unveiling the statue took place in the presence of saints and revered Avadheshanand Ji Maharaj. Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan appeared full of devotion in the program. He received the blessings of all the sages and prostrated himself before Adi Guru Shankaracharya. Today, in the land of Omkareshwar, a landscape was visible as if the entire earth had been engulfed in the spirit of Shiva.

The unveiling of the Statue of Unity is being carried out by prominent saints from across the country from 11th September, the program related responsibilities were given to the prominent saints, from 11th to 19th September, on Mandhata mountain, by Swami Brahmendranand of Uttarkashi and 32 Sanyasis. – Prasthanatray commentary was recited. From 15th to 19th September, on the Mandhata mountain, under the guidance of Dakshinamnaya Shringeri Shardapeeth, Maharishi Sandipani Rashtriya Ved Pratishthan performed Vedic ritual worship and 21 Kundiya Havan by about 300 renowned Vedic Archaks of the country. On September 18, Brahmotsav – a gathering of saints, sages and dignitaries (about 5000 people) was held at Siddhavarkoot and on September 21, under the guidance of Dakshinamnaya Shringeri Sharda Peeth, the Statue of Unity was unveiled and organized by Maharishi Sandipani Rashtriya Ved Pratisthan Ujjain / Acharya Shankar Cultural Unity Trust. Land and rock of Advaita Loka were worshipped.

Before the program, the saints and the Chief Minister were welcomed by the artists according to the traditional style of Kerala, after which the Chief Minister and the revered saints offered oblations in the Vedic Yagya ritual. On this occasion, the Chief Minister and revered saints observed the dance performances of Shaiva tradition from across the country and Chief Minister  Chouhan greeted the revered saints and special guests and unveiled the statue of unity and performed the bhoomi and shilapujan of Advaita Lok. On this occasion, Vedochhar – Shankhnaad was performed by 101 Batukas.

In the program, “Bahmootsav” was organized at Siddhavarkoot, along with Shankar Sangeet, concentrated choral dance performances were given on Vedas and hymns of Shivoham-Acharya Shankar. On this occasion, books based on Ekatm Dham and Advaita Yuva Jagran Shivir published by the Trust were released and the film ‘Ekatmta Ki Yatra’ was also screened.

Live greetings messages were also given by prominent saints and monasteries in the “Bahmotsav”, including His Holiness Swami Vidhushekhar Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Sharda Peeth, Shringeri, His Holiness Swami Sadanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Sharda Peeth Dwarka, His Holiness Swami Vijayendra Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Jagadguru. Shankaracharya, Kanchi Kamakoti Peeth, Kanchipuram gave live greetings.
