Bina Refinery Petrochemical Project is the biggest investment at one place in Madhya Pradesh – CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that 14th September will create a new history on the sacred land of Bina. Chief Minister Chouhan was today observing the preparations for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the petrochemical project to be done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 14 at Bina Refinery complex in Sagar district.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the petrochemical project is the biggest investment ever made at one place in Madhya Pradesh. With this investment of Rs 50 thousand crore, investments worth Rs 1 lakh crore will be made in different places of the state, which will provide employment to 2 lakh people. This project will create more than 4 lakh 15 thousand employment opportunities including 2.15 lakh directly and indirectly and the remaining 2 lakh.

Chouhan said that the youth will get employment opportunities, which will fill their lives with hopes and enthusiasm. He appealed to the public that the investment of Rs 50 thousand crore petrochemical project should be celebrated as a festival. Chouhan also said that with the construction of this project, industries will be established in Bina Refinery and other areas, which will increase employment opportunities. Chouhan said that the project was earlier put on hold, but the state government has taken it forward and opened the way for investment. Such employment opportunities on such a large scale rarely come around. After the commencement of this project, industrial hubs will be built in nearby areas including Bina, Sagar, Sironj, Kurwai, Basoda. Chief Minister Chouhan said that hotel business will increase due to the expansion of industrial area in Bina. Besides, other business activities will also gain momentum.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Madhya Pradesh government has also provided many facilities for the petrochemical project. With increasing investment in Madhya Pradesh, employment opportunities will increase. This will lead to progress in all areas in the state. Urban Development Minister Bhupendra Singh, Cooperation, Public Management Minister and Minister in-charge of Sagar district Dr. Arvind Singh Bhadauria, MP Rajbahadur Singh, MLA Mahesh Rai, Gaurav Sirothia along with many public representatives and senior officials were also present.
