Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja’s on-field spat in Perth

NEW DELHI: Indian pace spearhead Ishant Sharma and substitute fielder Ravindra Jadeja were seen having a heated argument on Day 4 of the second Test against Australia in Perth.
As India crumbled to a 146-run defeat, a video has now emerged of Ishant and Jadeja involved in what looks like a war of words on the field.

Though what was said during the conversation between the two isn’t known yet, the discussion seems to be regarding field placement, with Jadeja wanting a fielder to be placed at a certain point and Ishant disagreeing.
The two walked away a couple of times before finally returning to exchange words with each other again and Ishant can be seen pointing his finger at Jadeja.

Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami stepped in to separate the two.
India played four pacers in the Perth Test and the decision of not playing a specialist spinner backfired as Australian spinner Nathan Lyon took 8 wickets in the match, including a five-wicket haul in the first innings.
