CM Shivraj will start ‘Chief Minister’s Learn-Earn Scheme’, youth will become self-reliant, this scheme is special

Bhopal. Youth power is an important partner in the overall development of any state. Continuous efforts are being made by the state government to give better opportunities to the youth of Madhya Pradesh to move forward. A unique step is going to be added to the many ongoing efforts in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to make the youth self-reliant. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the registration of trainees on the portal under the Mukhyamantri Sikho-Kamao Yojana from Ravindra Bhavan in Bhopal on Tuesday. The Chief Minister will also interact with the youth in the programme, which will also be telecast live at all the district headquarters. The youth of the state will be able to register on the portal according to their eligibility in the subject of their choice.

State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken several steps with the aim of ensuring the interests of the youth and their participation in the social and economic development of Madhya Pradesh. In this sequence, taking forward its youth policy, the Madhya Pradesh government has prepared a new ‘Chief Minister’s Learn-Kamao Yojana’ on the lines of ‘Learn and Earn’. The youth taking training under the scheme will be trained to bring efficiency in industry-oriented new technology and processes, which will enable the youth to get employment easily. Under this scheme, 18 to 29 year old educated youth of the state will get training opportunity in reputed companies working in various fields. During the training, the youth will also be given a stipend ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per month.

Which youth will get the benefit of the scheme

In the first phase of this scheme, a target has been set to train one lakh youth in employment oriented skills, after which the target will be increased as per the requirement. Selected under the scheme will be registered as a trainee in the course prescribed by the Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Generation Board, in which the list of courses will be available on the scheme’s portal www.mmsky.mp.gov.in. For the eligibility of the scheme, the applicant must be a native of Madhya Pradesh, aged 18 to 29 years and must have minimum educational qualification of 12th pass, ITI passed, Diploma passed, graduation passed or higher education passed.

How much will you get stipend with training

Special enthusiasm is being seen among the youth towards this scheme. Selected students in the scheme will get stipend according to their educational qualification, in which 8000 per month will be given to 12th passed, 8500 to ITI passed, 9000 to diploma passed and 10 thousand rupees per month to graduate or higher education passed. In this scheme, till July 1, more than 10 thousand establishments have registered to provide employment to the youth in their institutions, through which about 35000 training vacancies have been published. With this new initiative of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the dreams of the youth of the state will get new wings.

Employment opportunities along with skill and earning

With the implementation of ‘Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana’, along with learning work, the financial help that the youth will get will increase their confidence. Industrial and commercial establishments generally do not get adequate number of skilled human resources after formal education. In view of this, the state government felt the need for such a scheme for their skill development, where the youth would get earning opportunities along with learning work. In the scheme, youth will be given skill training in industries, service sector as well as vocational skill training with latest technology and process. Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Board will give the certificate of State Council for Vocational Training after passing the prescribed examination after training or formative assessment. For this, companies and service sector have been linked to the scheme. Trained youth will also get good employment opportunities.

Will be trained for new technology and procedures

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says that while this scheme will work to give new flight to the dreams of another youth, it will also make the youth financially self-reliant. Madhya Pradesh will emerge as a state in which all the multifaceted concerns of the energy and ability of the youth will be included after the ‘Chief Minister’s Seekho-Kamao Yojana’ becomes effective. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the youth taking training from this scheme will be trained to bring efficiency in industry-oriented new techniques and processes, which will help them get employment easily.
