Rs. 5500-9000 payscale for Mantralaya Assistant Grade-3 : CM

Bhopal: A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Mantralaya here today decided to give payscale of Rs. 5500-9000 in place of Rs. 4500-7000 second higher timescale payscale after 20 years of service to Mantralaya’s Assistants Grade-3. In this context, this payscale is also promotion payscale of this cadre. Mantralaya employees’ unions had been raising this demand for long. The employees’ unions had also drawn attention of the Chief Minister, the Finance Minister, MoS for General Administration and the Chief Secretary from time to time for this payscale. Taking a major decision by the State Governemnt in the interest of employees, the long-pending demand of clerk grade employees has been fulfilled. Apart from Mantralaya Assistant Grade-3 employees, this decision will also benefit the Assistants Grade-1 and Grade-2, who remained deprived of the benefit even after completing 20 years’ service.
