Sanjeevani-108 Ambulance Service and Janani Express vehicles to be operated through central call centre

Bhopal: A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today decided to operate vehicles of Sanjeevani-108 Ambulance Service and Janani Express through central call centre. This will ensure effective monitoring of the vehicles and expenditure will also be cut down.

According to the decision, all vehicles under Sanjeevani-108 Ambulance Service and Janani Express Yojana will be linked with central call centre run by GVK-EMRI. As a result, both kinds of vehicles will be available on toll-free number 108. Capacity of the call centre will be increased as per requirement so that all vehicles in the state under Sanjeevani-108 Ambulance Service and Janani Express Yojana can be controlled through it.
The cabinet sanctioned Rs. 1720 crore 30 lakh 88 thousand for 6 irrigation projects. Administrative sanction of Rs. 84 crore was given for implementation of Irrigation Area Development and Watershed Management Programme of Kolar major irrigation project. Project’s irrigation area is 45 thousand 87 thousand hectare. During year 2012-13, the project irrigated 33 thousand 427 hectare during Rabi season.
The cabinet sanctioned ERM proposal for works pertaining to expansion, strengthening and modernisation of Tawa major irrigation project in Hoshangabad and Harda districts. In-principle consent was given to complete the project in 5 phases. Cost of first phase will be Rs. 89 crore 91 lakh, second Rs. 225 crore, third Rs. 325 core, fourth Rs. 75 crore and cost of the fifth phase will be Rs. 500 crore. Administrative sanction of Rs. 89 crore 91 lakh was accorded for getting first phase works done through State Government funds.
Revised administrative sanction of Rs. 980 crore 23 lakh was granted for Bansujara major project in Tikamgarh district. Apart from irrigation in 53 thousand 579 hectare from left bank canal in Tikamgarh district, now 5101 hectare will also be irrigated in Chhatarpur district from right bank canal.
Revised administrative sanction of Rs. 91 crore 39 lakh has been accorded to Kachhal medium project in Shajapur district. Area measuring 3170 hectare is proposed to be irrigated in Rabi season from this project to be constructed on Kachhal river at village Madkota in Barod tahsil.
Administrative sanction of Rs. 85 crore 41 lakh 60 thousand has been accorded for implementation of Command Area Development and Watershed Management Programme of Bariyarpur left canal project in Chhatarpur district. Designed irrigation potential of the project is 43 thousands 850 hectare. During year 2012-13, it had irrigated 34 thousand 500 hectare. For availing maximum irrigation benefit, lining of canal system of the project is being done. Due to it water from Ken river is flowing smoothly in the canal system. This will lead to irrigation benefit in entire area under irrigation during Rabi season. As as result of sanction granted today, designed irrigation capacity will be fully realised and target of productivity will be achieved.
The cabinet accorded administrative sanction of Rs. 389 crore 36 lakh 28 thousand for Rajghat canl major irrigation project. This is a multi-purpose inter-state project of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Under it, Rajghat dam has been constructed over Betwa river at village Badhera in Ashok Nagar district of Madhya Pradesh and near village Chaursal in Laliltpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The project irrigated 1 lakh 74 thousand 746 hectare during Rabi season in year 2012-13. The project irrigates areas in Datia, Bhind, Ashok Nagar, Shivpuri and Tikamgarh districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Byaj Anudan and Karigar Swarozgar Yojana
The cabinet endorsed Byaj Anudan Yojana. Finance through bank is made available by Directorate of Handloom, Sericulture Directorate, Madhya Pradesh Khadi & Village Industry Board, Madhya Pradesh Handicraft & Handloom Development Corporation and Madhya Pradesh Clay Art Board to beneficiaries for setting up their own cottage and village industries. Loans are sanctioned to them for building, machinery, working capital etc.
Like Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, beneficiaries of this scheme will also be sanctioned loan subsidy of 5 percent. The beneficiaries will be entitled for 5 percent loan subsidy for 5 years for sanctioned projects of upto Rs. 50 thousand. Subsidy will be subject to maximum Rs. 2000 per annum. Loan subsidy of 5 percent will be given for 5 years for loans over Rs. 50 thousand upto Rs. 5 lakh. Total maximum annual subsidy will be Rs. 17 thousand including capital investment and working capital.
Similarly, under Mukhyamantri Karigar Swarozgar Yojana, margin money upto Rs. 5 thousand will be given on project worth upto Rs. 10 thousand and 5 percent interest subsidy will be given on payable amount of loan of remaining Rs. 5000. Margin money on project cost will be given on projects worth over Rs. 10 thousand upto Rs. 5 lakh, which will be 50 percent of the project cost or Rs. 25 thousand, whichever is less. On loans taken from bank, 5 percent loan subsidy upto a maximum of Rs. 24 thousand per annum will be given for 5 years. This scheme has been implemented for urban artisans for the first time.
For rural artisans, project’s cost has been increased from Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh. The scheme provides for loans upto Rs. 10 thousand at zero percent interest rate and Rs. 5000 margin money subsidy. There is no binding of academic qualifications under the schemes, Beneficiary must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
