Priyanka Gandhi, who came to give edge to the Congress campaign for the assembly elections in Rajasthan, addressed a public meeting in Dausa on Friday. I saw on TV that after 6 months the envelope given by the Prime Minister was opened, the public was wondering God knows what would be in this envelope? Such big leaders of the country had come, they left with an envelope.

When I opened the envelope, I found Rs 21 in it. Now tell me, in a way, this is what is happening in the country. Big announcements are being made, various envelopes are being shown while standing on the stage. When you open those envelopes, when the elections are over and the time comes to show your work, nothing happens. The wording of Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) was also given to you in a similar manner.

BJP people say that our face will be Narendra Modi. The public should ask him whether he will leave the post of Prime Minister and become the CM of Rajasthan? Their aim is only to remain in power. His policy has become to take money from the poor and give it to industrialists. If the BJP government comes, the old pension scheme will end, what will happen to the cheap cylinders if the BJP government comes?

Many BJP leaders are declaring themselves Chief Minister. At some places it was a brick, at some places it was an obstacle, Modiji broke the clan. The entire BJP is broken, on the other hand Congress is united.

The central government did not do the work of providing employment. They reduced MNREGA, but are not able to provide new jobs. Inflation is so high that women go to the market and return empty handed. The companies from which you could have got employment were sold by the BJP central government to its industrialists.

There are so many difficulties because of the policies of the Central Government, but the Gehlot government is trying to get you out of these difficulties. The state government has to set up inflation relief camps because the central government is not able to control inflation. Rajasthan government has made the life of the people here easy.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, while addressing the gathering, said that we have given mobile phones to 40 lakh women. Under this scheme, one crore women will get mobile phones in the second phase. Assembly elections are not just for Rajasthan, the future of the entire country will be decided by it. We will fight this election on the basis of the work of our government. BJP says that we have no face, the lotus flower is the face. What road will the lotus flower make?
