Last rites of MLA Late Banwari Lal Sharma performed with state honours
CM Kamal Nath along with Cabinet members pay tributes
The funeral of Late Banwari Lal Sharma, MLA of Joura Assembly in Morena district, was held with state honours in his native village Japthaap. Chief Minister Kamal Nath, former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, other ministers and MLAs laid wreaths on the mortal remains of Late Sharma. Mukesh Sharma, the eldest son of Late Sharma, lit the pyre amidst chanting of Vedic hymns.
Chief Minister Kamal Nath consoled the bereaved family. Former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Cooperative Minister Dr. Govind Singh, Animal Husbandry Minister Lakhan Singh Yadav, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Women and Child Development Minister Imarti Devi and MLAs Raghuraj Singh Kanshana, Girraj Dandotia, Kamlesh Jatav, Baijnath Kushwaha, O.P.S Bhadouria, and Apex Bank Administrator Ashok Singh expressed condolences.
