MANREGA payment to be released through mobile banking

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that mobile banking facility will be launched for payment to labourers in MANREGA. The State government will provide expenditure of higher education to poor people and meritorious students of all categories. The Chief Minister said students of poor families would not face financial difficulties in education. Shri Chouhan was addressing district-level Antodaya Mela in Pushparajgarh in Anuppur district today.

Minister for Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Shri Omprakash Dhurve, District in-charge and Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Industries, Shri Sanjay Pathak and public representatives were present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said only treated water will be released in the Narmada river under Namami Devi Narmada Yojana. Plantations will be made along side of the river across the state and for that provision to the tune of Rs 1500 crore has been made. Shri Chouhan said the government had decided to provide 50 percent reservation to female in teachers’ recruitment and 33 percent reservation in police recruitment, for women empowerment.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed to distribute drought relief fund in districts in next 15 days and hold camps for redressal of public grievances. He said, people residing in Kalri won’t be evicted. Shri Chouhan announced constructions works for road, community building, Nal-Jal Praday Yojana for 51 villages and storage tank having the cost of Rs 10 crore. An exhibition on developmental works and achievements of the state government was organised there.
