Wheat procurement figure increasing constantly in MP

Bhopal: The figure of procurement of wheat from farmers in Madhya Pradesh is increasing constantly. So far, 33 lakh 79 thousand 156 MT wheat has been procured from 4 lakh 53 thousand 582 registered farmers.

Of the procured wheat, 27 lakh 53 thousand 266 MT has been transported and stored. It is 81.54 percent of procured wheat. So far, Rs. 5069 crore has been paid to farmers against wheat procured from them.
As on this date, 31 lakh 57 thousand MT wheat was procured last year.
