Two hour voluntary labour on Sunday in every ward of SW Assembly constituency
Bhopal: People will offer voluntary labour on every Sunday for 2 hours in every ward of South-West Assembly constituency in Bhopal city. Higher and Technical Education Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta contributed labour for about 40 minutes at the lake at Shivaji Nagar near Bus Stop No. 5 here today. Before Chhath Puja, Shri Gupta along with people of Bhojpuri Samaj cleaned lake’s ghat and removed grass on the premises.
Shri Gupta urged people to become partner in implementation of Prime Minister’s concept of “Swachh Bharat – Swasthya Bhartat”. He said that people should not hold brooms in hand only for being photographed and should contribute labour as per their capacity on holidays.
Shri Gupta said that people can also cooperate in the campaign by refraining from littering at public places. He said that garbage should be dumped at prescribed places only. Local public representatives also contributed labour on the occasion.
