Two day programme in Bharat Bhavan to showcase Tulsidas’s life

Bhopal: The Bhopalites would witness the life span of Sant, poet and philosopher Tulsidas in a two-day programme Tulsi Jayanti Samaroh 2013. The programme is being organised by Nirala Srijanpeeth that would begin from Tuesday at Antrang Hall, Bharat Bhavan.
On the first day of the programme, a discussion would be held on the life span of Tulsidas.The discussion would be held on the topic, ‘Tulsi Ki Prasangkita’ under which a speech would be delivered by a noted author Virendra Nirjhar from Burhanpur and Umesh Pathak from Uttar Pradesh.
They would highlight the teachings of Tulsidas. They would also focus on the lifestyle of Tulsidas. Director of Nirala Srijanpeeth Diwakar Verma said that the Tulsi Jayanthi Samaroh is being organized to mark the birth anniversary of the Sant Tulsidas.
On this occasion people would be made aware about the life of Tulsidas and his teachings and preaching. This event would also focus on the great contribution of Tulsidas to the society.
On the opening day of the event, a ballet performance would also be presented by the artists of Ardhyakal Samiti. Two dance dramas including ‘Ratnawali’ and ‘Nirala Ke Ram’ will be staged at Antarang Hall of Bharat Bhawan on August 13 and 14 from 7 pm.
The dramas are being choreographed by a noted theatre director Vaishali Gupta. Both the dance dramas focus on the personal life of Tulsidas and would also tell the audience about his writings. His three poems ‘Tulsidas’, ‘Ram Ki Shakti Puja’ and ‘Panchvati’ would also be included as a part of the ballet. The event would conclude on August 14 with another ballet performance.
