State Establishes Forest Crime Information Center

Bhopal  —  In continuum of its efforts to curb wildlife related crime in the state, the Madhya Pradesh state government has set up a Forest Crime Information Center.

Working round-the-clock, the center may be dialed in toll free (155312) with any complaints related to illegal felling, theft, poaching or fire.

The center was established at the behest of Forest Minister Sartaj Singh, who since his recent induction to the state cabinet has sought greater public cooperation to combat forest and wildlife crime in the state.
