Solar Eclipse Seen in Bhopal
Bhopal: The millennium’s longest solar eclipse, which was clearly visible in south India, was also seen in Bhopal on Friday, said reports.
In Bhopal, the eclipse began at 11:35 am and lasted till 1:30 pm. During the eclipse, most of its stages were clearly visible as weather was clear, report said.
However, final stages like diamond-ring – the most pleasant stage of the eclipse – were not seen in the town, which was visible only in southern states, said reports.
In rest of the India, eclipse roughly began at 11.15 and lasted till 3.15. Such a long solar eclipse will next take place around 1000 years later.
