Simhastha-2016 should be held as precedent

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has that it the resolve of the State Government that Simhastha to be held in the city of Mahakal in year 2016 becomes a precedent in the country and world. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was laying foundation stones for Rs. 347 crore Simhastha works at Ujjain today.

The works for which the Chief Minister laid foundation stone today included construction of a building costing Rs. 20 crore under Atal Ashray Yojana, building of Simhastha Fair Office costing Rs. 65 crore, Neelganga reservoir and Simhastha stay venue costing Rs. 27 crore 50 lakh, Hari Phatak to Barnagar-Ujjain road costing Rs. 99 crore, Dewas road to Maksi road link costing Rs. 14 crore 74 lakh, Maksi Road to Agar Road costing Rs. 10 crore 90 lakh, Ujjain-Indore road to Ujjain-Dewas bypass link road costing Rs. 13 crore 58 lakh, Chhoti Rapat to Bhuki Mata via Mangalnath cement concrete road costing Rs. 4 crore 44 lakh. Barnagar bypass to Barnagar road via Ujadkhera Hunuman Mandir link road costing Rs. 3 crore 17 lakh and Barnagar to Ranji Hanuman via Gonsa road link road costing Rs. 9 crore 26 lakh.

The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for Rs. 1 crore 39 lakh Ujjain mega circuit, beautification of Mangalanth under Ujjain mega circuit at a cost of Rs. 36 lakh and beautification of various temples in the mega circuit at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh. He also laid foundation stones for construction of a bridge over Kshipra river near Narsingh Ghat costing Rs. 5 crore 28 lakh, additional bridge parallel to Khsipra Setu near Bada Pul costing Rs. 6 crore, bridge over Khipra river near Rinmukteshwar costing Rs. 9 crore 34 lakh, 4-lane ROB on MR-10 costing Rs. 20 crore and Rs. 32 crore works for ROB on the road linking with road from Maksi to Agar road, 4 overhead tanks in Panchkroshi area and various stay venues for drinking water arrangements, pipeline/drainage systems, 3 barracks and beatification of Chintaman Ganesh, Harsiddhi, Shri Kal Bhairav, Mangalanth temples and Sandeepni Ashram.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also laid foundation stones fo rmain pipeline and sumpwell for Undasa plant, Mangalnath sub-station, new 132/33 power sub-station, Ujjain western bypass ring road to two-lane with paved shoulder, Arniyab Bahadur and other 16 villages’ piped drinking water scheme, 8 shops constructed under Mukhyamantri Gram Haat Yojana at Narwar and construction works at Nanded, Kheda Khajuria and Bichhauda Khalsa. He also inaugurated Excise Office’s building at Indore Gate.

Minster in-charge of district Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister of State for General Administration Shri K.L. Agrawal, MP Shri Prabhat Jha, MP Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Dr. Mohan Yadav, MLA Shri Shiv Narayan Jagirdar, Mayor Shri Rameshwar Akhand, Ujjain Development Authority Chairman Shri Kishore Khandelwal, Haj Committee Chairman Shri Sanwar Patel, Simhastha Fair Authority Chairman Shri Diwakar Natu, former MP Dr. Satyanarayan Jatia, District Cooperative Bank’s President Shri Lal Singh Ranawat, Agriculture Development Bank’s President Shri Kishan Singh Bhatol, Ujjain Development Authority’s Vice-Chairman Shri Anil Firojia and large number of public representatives were present on the occasion.
