Separate review of health institutions buildings soon

Bhopal: Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram has directed to make hospitals and rural health centres convenient. He also directed to undertake necessary repairs of health institutions’ buildings. The Chief Secretary will soon convene a meeting on construction and repair of health institutions’ buildings.

Recently, the Chief Secretary had also directed during review of Health Department’s progress that rural health institutions should be made more useful. Every patient should be provided treatment. chief medical and health officers, civil surgeons and hospital superintendents should inspect heath institutions’ buildings under their jurisdiction.
In compliance with the Chief Secretary’s directives, the Health Department issued an order today directing field officers that inspection of health institutions buildings should be completed within a week. It should also be ensured that no building should be in decrepit or perilous condition. If a dilapidated building is in use, it should be evacuated and locked immediately, the directives added.
