Rs. 40 crore for residential schools of 3 primitive tribes in state

Bhopal: The Tribal Development Department has sanctioned Rs. 40 crore for residential schools of three primitive tribes of the state at Jabalpur, Indore and Guna. Presently, these residential schools have 689 students. A sum of Rs. 13 crore 30 lakh has been sanctioned for Jabalpur, Rs. 12 crore 81 lakh for Guna and Rs. 14 crore 66 lakh has been sanctioned to Indore for construction of buildings. Each inmate of these residential schools is provided stipend worth Rs. 800 per month and Rs. 150 as special nutritious diet allowance.
Classes from VI to XI are being conducted at Jabalpur, III to IX at Indore and III to X at Guna.
