Register FIR of very person coming to police station

Bhopal: Home Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta has directed to register FIR of every person who visits a police station for this purpose. He gave this directive at a meeting of police officers at Datia today.

The Home Minister said that police officers should function with impartiality and secure justice to victims. Following review of pending cases, he directed to dispose them of at the earliest. Shri Gupta said that distinguished citizens should be invited to police stations for discussions. He also planted a sapling on the premises of police control room.
IG Chambal Range Shri S.M. Afzal and other officers attended the meeting.
