AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi commenced his two-day Madhya Pradesh visit on Monday, reported ANI.
The first day of Gandhi’s visit comprised of a number of activities including visiting Gwalior, Sagar and Jabalpur before coming to Bhopal, report said.
Gandhi will stay overnight in the state capital.
Gandhi is scheduled to address a meeting at the state Congress headquarters on Tuesday and would then proceed to Indore.
During the visit, Gandhi is slated to have interactive sessions with the students of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, and will also meet the students of Devi Ahilyabai University, Indore, said report.
He will also meet the members of these organizations during his visit.
His visit is aimed at promoting greater participation of talented youth in politics and revitalise the National Students Union of India and the Youth Congress in the state.
