Pulse Polio Drive on February 7

With a view to eradicate polio, the national pulse polio campaign will be launched in the state on February 7, said an official release.

Release said that 45307 polio vaccination booths, 2021 mobile teams and 2589 transit booths have been set up in the state under the campaign and that 181227 workers and 9061 supervisors will be deployed.

One crore 46 lakh doses of polio drops have been made available to all the districts for the drive, said release.

An appeal has been made to government/non-government departments, voluntary organisations and citizens of the state to ensure that every child from 0 to 5 years of age should be administered polio drops for making the campaign successful, said release.
