Provide Hire-Purchase Residences to Policemen: Gupta

Bhopal  —  At a review of the activities conducted by the Police Housing Corporation, state home minister Umashankar Gupta Wednesday directed officials to formulate a strategy to enable police personnel to acquire houses on a hire-purchase basis. He said the state government will extend all possible help to ensure the success of the endeavor.

Urging for special attention to be paid to the maintenance and upkeep of police quarters, Gupta instructed officials to obtain funds pending with the Union Government at the earliest.

Minister of State for Home – Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Principal Secretary Home – Rajan Katoch, corporation chairperson – Nandan Dubey and managing director – MP Dwivedi were present at the meeting held at the Mantralaya in the state capital.
